Everyone knows that in order to have a great day you need to start off on the right foot. Your morning routine can be the most important period of your day, making sure you are on track going into the day. One thing that can improve your morning routine is to use jogging as a healthy morning activity to do before journaling.
Did you know starting a journal entry with a jog is an old school method to getting your mind in the right place? Now before you roll your eyes, think about it. There’s something calming and therapeutic when you’re just spending time alone with yourself. Today because of technology we are never alone. Jogging is a method to help clear your mind while taking in the fresh air and sounds of nature. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by everything that’s going on in my life (I have ADHD). Spending 30 minutes alone helps reduce stress and give me clarity on what I should be focusing on for the day. If you haven’t thought about journaling before- give it a try!
