A Letter to My Daughter: The First Journal Entry of Fatherhood
As soon as I saw you, I knew that you were the one. You were so beautiful and perfect, and nothing could stop me from falling in love with you. Even though I know I’m your father, it’s still hard to believe that I’m your dad. I’m excited to start this new chapter in our lives together. Welcome to the world, little girl. I can’t wait to be the best dad that I can be.
1. About the Blogger
I’m a new dad, and I’m starting this journal to document my thoughts, feelings and experiences as fatherhood unfolds. This is my first entry, and I want to start by introducing myself. My name is Tim, and I’m a father to a beautiful baby girl. Being a dad is a new adventure for me, and I’m excited to see what the future holds. I’m also a little bit scared, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out as I go. I’m going to document my journey here, and I hope that by sharing my experiences, I can help other dads out there who might be feeling the same way I am.
2. Where to Start?
When it comes to fatherhood, there’s no one right way to do things. Every dad is different, and every daughter is unique. So how do you even begin to start journaling about fatherhood? It can be difficult to find the right words, but it’s worth it to document your thoughts and feelings as they happen. The best way to start is by simply expressing your love for your daughter and all the hopes and dreams you have for her future. documentary fatherhood journaling start
3. Memories are Forever
As your father, I promise to always be there for you. I will always love you, no matter what. And I will always try to be a good role model for you. I want you to know that I will always be here for you, and I will always be your number one fan. I’m so proud of you, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will do in this world. I know I will never be able to articulate just how much I love you, but know that it is more than you could ever imagine. I’m so excited to see all the wonderful memories we will make together.
You can write whatever you want in this space: a random thought, a story about something that happened to you, or even just your thoughts on what’s going on with your child. What matters is that it’s written down and will be there for her when she wants to remember who you were and what mattered most during these first few weeks of life together.
